Leadership Journey
Emmanuella's leadership journey began during her time at Nnamdi Azikiwe University when she decided—nervously but excitedly—to run in the Faculty Senate election. Despite being the youngest candidate in a race with over thirteen others, and one of only two women, she approached the challenge with determination.
The election required the top five candidates with the highest votes to become legislators representing their class. Though feeling like an underdog, Emmanuella gave it everything she had—connecting with fellow students, listening to their concerns, and sharing her vision.

When the results came in, not only did she qualify—she emerged with the highest number of votes, surpassing all expectations and beating even the most seasoned candidates. This formative experience became the foundation of her leadership philosophy.
